Three Reasons To Have a New Year's Eve Wedding
I rang in the new year a little differently for 2020.
I had the opportunity to assist Linnea Marie Photography (linked below) photograph one of the most beautiful weddings, and I am so glad I took it. I think I will be reserving weddings on new year's eve from now on.
First, the bride had everything planned to a tee, and it was perfect.
She had so many amazing details that transported us all too a whole new world.
The wedding had a whimsical, celestial theme.
And, everyone was welcome to their universe that day.
In the past, I avoided reserving weddings on holidays. I always wanted to spend those moments with my own friends and/or family.
But, this year I'm excited to photograph a New Year's Eve wedding coming up in December with my beautiful clients, Max and Emily! The first holiday event for Katelyn Cataldo Weddings, and we are so excited!
So, that being said, here are 3 reasons why as a couple, you should be open to hosting a New Year's Eve wedding.
The chances of your dream venue being open are high.
Many venues and wedding vendors have holiday service fees in place in order to reserve them on that date. A lot of couples will avoid those fees by simply having their event on a different date. But, this means that the chances of a venue being available on New Year's Eve is going to be higher! If you have some wiggle room in your budget, do some research and compare prices. You could be surprised!
It's a good reason to go all out.
This bride surprised her groom with a couple of dancers, he literally had no idea!
They added so much flare to the party and kept the party going and going. After bringing the cake out, they passed out favors and entertained the guests. It was the perfect gift for the groom.
There are so many details you can incorporate into your event, and your options are limitless. Completely personalize your day, and don't be afraid to go all out.
It will be one heck of a party.
Think, your friends and family all in one place, for the whole evening, celebrating your love and bringing in the new year together. I mean, does it get any better than that?
As a photographer, it was a beautiful event to watch, making it a breeze to capture.
Moments like these make my career as a photographer rewarding and memorable.
This is why I do what I do!
